LG launched its next generation flagship smartphone, the Optimus G at an event in Seoul.
The LG Optimus G comes with a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, LTE networking, a 4.7-inch 1280x768 (320ppi) display and 2GB of RAM. The phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front shooter. It comes with 32GB of built-in flash storage, but no microSD card slot. The Android 4.0 sporting smartphone also comes with NFC.
The LG Optimus G is the first smartphone to come with quad-core processor with 4G LTE,4G LTE is the network standard of the future.4G LTE is the network standard of the future. It promises over 100 Mbps transfer speeds, but the downside is that not all smartphones support it. To be more precise, most new smartphones comes in different versions for LTE enabled countries and non LTE enabled countries. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S3 that is sold in North America comes with a dual core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Krait and 2 GB RAM instead and the one sold in countries like India comes with the quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos and 1 GB RAM. This difference is because the SoC’s that contained quad-core processors didn’t have LTE connectivity. Only recently SoC’s are coming out that support LTE connectivity and house quad-core processors. No more though, the LG Optimus G has been launched and is the world’s first quad-core LTE smartphone
The most impressive addition to the software is the QSlide Function, a feature that allows to display two application screens simultaneously, thus enabling multitasking. For example, users can search the web or send messages while watching a video.
KEY SPECIFICATION'S:
- Display: 4.7-inch True HD IPS + (1280x768) Display
- CPU: 1.5GHz quad-core processor Qualcomm APQ 8064
- 2GB DDR2 RAM
- 13MP rear camera
- 1.3MP front camera
- Operating System: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
- Battery capacity: 2,100 mAh

- Weight: 145g
PRICE:
The phone will go on sale in Korea next week for a price tag of 999,900 KRW ($895 USD, Rs. 48,395).
CONCLUSION:
It sure is a powerful smartphone. The only catch is, it’s going to ship with Ice Cream Sandwich instead of Jelly Bean. Although an upgrade is inevitable, with LG’s track record we’re not sure it will come soon. LG claims that even with these specs it will last for long, and offer upto 12 hours of talktime. Apparently there’s some new battery tech being used in the LG Optimus G that helps in efficiency. LG is really banking on multi-tasking here, and claims that the LG Optimus G won’t slow down even during heavy usage. All of this is packed in a very thin 8.4mm body, which is really quite impressive. So what do you think?? Is this the phone that gets LG into the big league?? Drop us a comment with your views.....!!!!

This month the Facebook has announce an new technology named Hugo Effort let start in details that what are these and how to protect your Facebook account from ban.
HUGO EFFORT:
Last month the social network revealed that it currently has more than 83million fake accounts, making up 8.7 per cent of its 995million active users, To avoid this Facebook has Now adopted a technology named "HUGE EFFORT" to search and delete fake profiles to prevent misuse of such identities, a senior company official has said.“Absolutely, there is a huge effort,” Facebook India business manager Pavan Varma told PTI when asked about the company’s action on this front.
Facebook India said they are not worried to protect their brand name, but infact they are worried about the experience which they deliver. Recently, there were a lot of reports regarding the fake accounts being created by computer programs. These computer programmed Facebook accounts are used for inflating certain number of likes on Facebook pages for branding.
Facebook has announced saying, We will take out even the fake likes generated by spammers, malware and black marketers. Pavan Varma said, “How does and advertiser today is treating a Facebook page? It is treated as a place where they just come with a number of people who are seen there. This is not the correct way of doing it” . He said, stressing that the conversations around a brand should assume importance, rather than the number of fans seen there. Mere Likes on a page will not help a brand to grow online. Usually companies pay Facebook for a dedicated page on its platform. This will allow Facebook to connect them to a target audience.
Even if people who have very less friends are asked to prove their original identity. Facebook might ask any user to prove their identity with a proper authentication. The message might be some what like this,
“Could you help us identify yourself if you don’t have enough friends, because we don’t want fake identities.”
HOW TO PROTECT YOUR FACEBOOK ACCOUT FROM HUGO EFFORT:
Maintain more friends in Facebook. Because less friends might block you from Facebook, considering you as a fake account.Don’t use a universal name or a popular name in your profile name. Just use your real name in your Facebook account.
Don’t use a celebrity or a cartoon picture as you Facebook display (profile) picture.
Don’t support Spam,
I hope everyone will keep their Facebook profiles safe and secure. You never knew when Facebook might delete your account all of the sudden. To prevent the deletion of your account do check the guidelines we gave above, and keep your Facebook profile updated with correct info. Doing this will surely keep your account safe. If you want to protect your Facebook account from ban, feel free to share with us.

Gmail is the fastest growing email service and has one of the best Spam filters and clean interface for navigation. There are lots of features like Gmail Preview Pane and Additional Chat Emotions which are not enabled by default but you can activate them from Gmail Labs.
A lot of information sent over email these days can be very important, such as account and password information, bank statements, university grades, business reports, and general correspondence among friends and family. It's always possible, though, that any data you store on the Internet could get wiped out.
If you're worried about ever losing your emails to a similar glitch, it's probably a good idea to regularly backup your Gmail account.
There are numerous ways to backup your Gmail data and deciding which way to go will largely depend on the level of effort you want to put into it. You could simply setup Gmail to forward all your mails to another email account and call it a day, for instance. But there are also a handful of other options that offer a bit more flexibility and convenience.
USING AN DESKTOP CLIENT:
Configure your mail client following the steps below. Once your mail client is configured to download your email, remember to open it periodically to backup.
- Log into Gmail and click on "Mail Settings" in the top right hand corner. This can be accessed from any Gmail page.
- Locate and click on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
- Look under "POP Download". Select the first option, "Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's already been downloaded)".
- Click on "Save Changes" at the bottom.
USING SOFTWARES:
This is a handy tool that automatically performs scheduled backups for a number of popular online services including Google Apps, Facebook, Twitter and others. You won't have to put too much effort into the whole backup process -- just supply the login credentials of the sites you want backed up and Backupify takes care of the rest. Be aware though that you're essentially moving your info from one cloud to another.
The site offers both free and paid accounts with varying limitations, but given the recent Gmail blunder, Backupify is taking the opportunity to entice new users with a coupon code "savegmail" for a year of free backups with one of their premium plans, so there's really no reason for not giving it a shot.
Gmail Backup is a simple and easy-to-setup free alternative that does exactly what its name says. Upon installation, just type in your credentials and it will begin downloading all your e-mails, backing them up securely, and allowing you to restore them to your account should the unthinkable happen. The program is free and Windows-only.
Using this software it will back up Gmail messages or messages from a Google Apps Mail account as a .zip file to a local disk. It supports multiple accounts and even stores labels associated with each message, while those concerned about privacy can encrypt their mail and password protect it.
But this is an paid software so you have to pay $19.95 to get or you can use an free trial version of this software.

Many times you may heared about cloud computing , but you know what actually cloud computing is?? if you you dont know then sit back and clearly read this article and after reading it i hope you are all clear about cloud computing?
WHAT IS CLOUD COMPUTING???
In the modern world of the Internet and the World Wide Web, there are thousands upon thousands of computers sitting in data centers, scattered around the world. We use those computers constantly—for chatting with other people, sending email, playing games, and reading and writing blogs. When we’re doing one of these everyday activities, we’re accessing a program running on a server, using our browser as a client. But where is the program actually running? Where is the data? Where are the servers? They’re somewhere out there, somewhere in some data center, somewhere in the world. You don’t know where, and more importantly, you don’t care; there’s absolutely no reason for you to care. What matters to you is that you can get to the program and the data whenever you need to.
writing. When I finished, I’d click on the Post button, and the blog post would appear to all of my readers. From my point of view, it just worked. All I needed was my web browser and the URL, and I could write my blog.
Behind the scenes, Blogger is a complex piece of software run by Google in one of its data centers. It hosts hundreds of thousands of blogs, and those blogs are read by millions of users every day. When you look at it this way, it’s obvious that the software behind Blogger is running on lots of computers. How many? We don’t know. In fact, it’s probably not
even a fixed number—when not many people are accessing it, it doesn’t need to be running on as many machines, when more people start using it, it needs more machines. The number of machines running it varies. But from the user’s point of view—whether that user is a blog author ora blog reader—none of that matters. Blogger is a service, and it works.
When I want to write a post, I can go to Blogger and write it, and when people go to my blog’s web page, they can read it.That’s the fundamental idea of the cloud: programs and data are on a computer somewhere out there, and you neither know nor care where that computer is.
SYNCING SERVICES:
The cloud delivers convenience, and nothing is more convenient than synchronizing files stored on multiple computers and accessing those files from any PC, smartphone, or tablet with Internet access.
